A woman named Barbara Chase-Riboud tried to sue Stephen Spielberg for using her book as a movie without permission. She thinks that the movie Amistad was copied off of her book about a real-life mutiny aboard a slave ship off the coast of Cuba in 1839. She believed that DreamWorks’ script copied “themes, dialogue, characters, relationships, plots, scenes and fictional inventions” from her book Echo of Lions. There was no punishment because the court recognized that historical facts and basic character types are not protectable. So Chase-Riboud’s motion for summary judgment was denied. Its really super spectacular, like continuum transfunctioner! just like it, it's mystery is exceeded by its power.

Tracking Teresa
Teresa didn't really give out a lot of information but we could still find her. She said her real name in her username for the chat room, her age was assumed because of the site, plus she had a valid email that was available, and in her profile she said her brother's name. With that tiny amount of information we can figure out who and where she is. I personally have put out personal information, not always on purpose. Sometimes I lie about my age though. Oops, still not a good idea, I won't be doing that anymore. But I'm sure that everyone has said some personal information on the internet before, at least like their age, name, gender, or anything else. Finally, the most important thing to remember is COMMON SENSE.
COMMON SENSE = Safe happy people
Now this next story, I read online at netsmartz and it is about a girl that met a guy on a private chatroom. He said that he could take care of her and make things better in her life, and she believed it. She wasn't feeling good about what she was doing but she got a call from one of the other people the guy talked to on a chatroom and said that he was outside waiting for her. She left, and she was gone for two days. They were then found at a bus terminal and he was taken to prison for taking a minor over state lines. Now she knows how much trouble she is in because he can and probably will find her after he gets out. I find all that really scary. Leaving with a guy you have never met before? She could've been dead on the side of the road. Sad right? USE COMMON SENSE!
